Dear Parents and Students of C-6,

I am excited to share with you a new opportunity we will be exploring together. It is a learning blog. A blog is a way for us to be able to interact with what we are learning through the use of technology. We will be expressing ideas, opinions, sharing new ideas, and most importantly we will be learning with one another.

We will be using our blogs in Reader's and Writer's Workshop. In Reader's workshop, we will be sharing opinions,asking questions,synthesizing new learnings, and making prediction while we are reading our "Just Right" books and during Interactive Read Aloud. We can also post our "Top Picks From C-6" book recommendations. I am excited to be able to have my students share their writing on here as well. What a great accomplishment to have their work published on our classroom blog.

This year will be exciting on many levels, but the use of technology within our classroom blog will be amazing! Let's learn more, grow more, and experience more everyday!
